This time, however, one of his targets has sparked controversy: Megan Thee Stallion.

Eminem’s lyrics about Megan Thee Stallion have raised eyebrows. He raps, “If I was to ask for Megan Thee (What?) Stallion if she would collab with me / Would I really have a shot at a feat? (Haha) / I don’t know, but I’m glad to be back like.” The seemingly innocuous line about collaboration takes a dark turn with the use of the word “shot,” a clear reference to the shooting Megan Thee Stallion endured in 2020. This insensitive wordplay has not gone over well with the rap community.
